Our Mission and Vision
Our mission is to empower caregivers with the knowledge, support, and access needed for children with structural anomalies to live with dignity and independence. We build meaningful partnerships with individuals, organizations, and healthcare institutions, grounded in transparency, compassion, and a shared commitment to equitable healthcare.
We envision a world where every underprivileged child born with birth defects receives not just medical treatment, but comprehensive care that supports long-term quality of life. Through community outreach, education, and training of local health providers, we aim to raise awareness of congenital conditions and connect families to the best possible care through medical camps and guided referrals.
What is a birth defect?
A birth defect is a medical condition present at birth that affects how a part of the body looks, works, or both. Some are visible—like cleft lips or limb differences—while others, such as heart or kidney defects, may not be immediately noticeable. Causes vary and can include genetic factors, environmental exposures during pregnancy, or sometimes no known reason.
What’s important to know:
Birth defects are never anyone’s fault. With the right care and support, most children with birth defects can live healthy, fulfilling lives.
